Summary: whole property was great. very well equipped. nothing forgotten property owners very nice very helpful. some home baked cakes and a large loaf plus homemade jam were there for us when we arrived. we were let down by some cool weather. we found there was not a lot to do or see in the area. better weather would have made this gite perfect.

Summary: We stayed for two weeks and after a number of years of returning we still enjoy everything about the gites and area. We have booked for next year. Just wish could speak better french to say thank you to Thierry and Chantal.

Summary: Really lovely gite, very comfortable and clean. Huge enclosed garden for the dogs to enjoy and a fantastic swimming pool us to enjoy. Lots to see in the surrounding area, will look to return. Highly recommended.

Summary: Our 3 children aged 4, 6 and 8 and ourselves had a fantastic half term break staying in this beautiful gite situated in the town of Ligueil. The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and clean and the swimming pool was a massive hit with us all. We were very fortunate to have great weather but the cover makes the pool an even bigger attraction as there is no risk of the kids being bored even on rainy days! There are plenty of local markets and towns to visit, with Loches wednesday market being a favourite of ours! The town of Ligueil and supermarket is within walking distance although with 3 children, parking up to get supplies was much easier! Our French hosts were lovely with check in and check out being an easy, smooth process. Cakes and homemade bread was even waiting for us on our arrival! If you are after a relaxing break in the beautiful french countryside then you cannot go wrong with this gite and im sure we will look to book again in the future.

Summary: Hosts were very welcoming on arrival, easy to find location and as described, extremely peaceful, tranquil setting. As we stayed in Feb the fire was already lit which was a lovely feature that we used during our stay. The garden was great, the kids loved running around the space and playing on the swings. The house was perfectly clean and cosy with plenty of room for a family of 4 and I can imagine that, in the summer, the outdoor space would be amazing with the pool and bbq available. We'd definitely stay here again.

Summary: I can’t thank Chantal and Thierry enough for our wonderful stay .. the property is just beautiful with a fantastic garden (large, enclosed, secluded, with table tennis table, bbq, shaded seating area ... plus patio) and a BRILLIANT pool that can be used weather it’s hot or overcast outside. The house is lovely with everything you could need and is clean and comfortable. We arrived to fresh, homemade bread and cakes and Chantal and Thierry were completely invisible unless we asked any questions at which point they’d turn immediately to be super helpful. We took our 2.5yr old and 2 dogs and had a really great time. We will DEFINITELY be back!! Merci, merci, merci!
